Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician and founding member of the heavy metal band Motley Crue. Along with being the drummer of the group for the longest time, Lee was the founder of the rap metal band Methods of Mayhem and has been involved in solo projects. Lee is an avid PETA fan and an avid advocate for the rights of animals. Lee wrote Terry Prather in protest of Tilikum's treatment in the year 2010. Lee thought the animal should be released. He also stated that SeaWorld could not be a good partner as Tilikum is their primary source of sperm. Lee expressed his disgust at SeaWorld's inept and bizarre method to obtain Tilikum fertile. Lee concluded that he wished to avoid any more tragedies of trainers being killed as these tragedies were caused by the whales' distaste for the confinement.
