Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian actor. She first made screen appearances through Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic where she received the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. The actress speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian well. Her mother played the violin The father of her is a theater instructor in one of Romania's top theater schools. The young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. It was the European Film Promotion Board named her as a European Shooting Star in 2008. Marinca played the role of Yasim Anwar in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, and also Boogie, the Romanian drama Boogie. She then had an important role in 2014's Fury which featured her as Irma who was the German maternal aunt to Emma.
